What if you could live a life of magic? In the story of Mary Poppins created by P.L Travers using the Romance plot line he describes the journey of Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins, the nanny, and her friend Bert, a chimney sweeper, reunites  the Banks family by showing the parents what they have done wrong and what they should do better in future. 

            Mr and Mrs Banks are both too occupied with their own matters. Mr Banks with his job at a bank and and Mrs Banks with the light-hearted participation in the Suffragette Movement. To look after the children they hand this task over to a quickly changing series of nannies of which the last is Katie, Nanna, who leaves the house furiously as the two Banks’ children have gone missing the fourth time in a week and she simply cannot cope with them anymore.So she quit and that is a little bit of a conflict. But the Next day Mr. Banks wanted to interview a few more nanny's but only one showed up and her name was Mary Poppins. She was so excited to be there she went to work right away. 


          The reason that the plot line is romance is because everything seems better than it really is. and  couple characteristics are that Its full of magic such as the first day when she starts of work she uses magic to help the children clean their room. And she took them on a Merry Go Round and a horse race and a fox hunt. all in a different world and also Mary's friend Bert sang and danced with some penguins. Also symbolism everything was happy and cheery and flowers and it was during the day and there were a lot of animals and music. 

         Towards the end of the story the children marry and Bert start to dance and sing on the roof tops of London and come flying down the chimney f the Banks house and Bert helps Mr. Banks become a better father and person and t care about is children and not so much about his work.

       At the very end the family is united again. Even Mrs Banks forgets about her emancipation and uses the Suffragette sash as a tail for the kite they are making together. In the park, they meet the bank managers again, who tell Mr Banks that he gets his job back because he made the main director of the board laugh so much that he died happily. All together, they let the kites fly. Only Mary Poppins is left behind unnoticed she flies away as the wind has changed again.
